Pentex Production's fan edit of the Disney+ series

Obi-Wan Kenobi into a two hour movie

960x0.jpg

Hello there.

This is where you can find Kenobi: A Star Wars Story - a 124 minute long fan edit of the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi by Pentex Productions - a Youtube video essayist and part-time cartoon penguin.

This edit keeps the overall story of the TV series, but cuts it down into a tight but cohesive narrative that is firmly focused on the character of Obi-Wan, and his relationship with Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader.

It re-orders scenes, cuts unnecessary filler, and overall tells the story in a much more effective way that puts the characters at the heart. The edit also uses music from the prequel trilogy, including a re-score of the final duel to Battle of the Heroes done by Cinevore.

In the flashbacks, I have used Darth Porg's incredible de-aging of Hayden Christensen. It looks amazing.

If you haven't already, you can watch the video on my YouTube channel explaining the rationale behind the edit in more detail, which can be found right here: https://youtu.be/GuqQqyXLB4E

Read on for the information you need to download the edited film.

A NOTE ON THE AUDIO

I am not an audio expert and the mixing on this is understandably very complex. So the movie is just stereo, not 5.1.

I have tested the audio on a range of different devices, but your playback experience may differ depending on your set-up, and you may experience issues with levels and/or transitions. I have found that this cut works best watched with quality headphones.

Before you download it...

Before I share the links, please responsibly support the fan editing community and the series’ original creators, and only view fan edits of films and shows for which you already have a legally purchased copy.

This means a full Disney+ subscription and Blu-Ray copies of Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, because of the use of footage and music from those films.

This is entirely a non-profit fan creation I did in my spare time out of a love for Star Wars and a desire to tell Obi-Wan's story in a new way. If you liked the video, please check out my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/PentexProductions

Also, please be careful when downloading files from the internet. The links below are the only one I can vouch for, but download at your own risk.

If clicking the link does not work, copy and paste it into the search bar.

DOWNLOAD THE FULL MOVIE HERE

These links will take you to the film on Google Drive, Mega or IPFS. If demand is high the Drive links won't work - the best bet is the 3.5 GB Mega version - its still looks fine.

MEGA

Mega has a download limit of 5GB if you don't have an account, so go for the smaller file. The 3.4 GB is still great quality, promise. Make sure you actually download the file - if you watch it in the browser it'll probably cut out 20 minutes in or so.

GOOGLE DRIVE

If lots of people have been using the Google Drive link then it'll become unavailable. Try again later, or pick another link.

IPFS (what is this?)

A peer-to-peer option, with thanks to @RubenKelevra for setting this up.

By downloading one of these files, you acknowledge that you own a legal copy of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series through a full Disney+ subscription as well as legally-purchased copies of Star Wars: Episode II: Attacks of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Then you're in luck. I teamed up with Kai Patterson (of Patterson Cut fame) to create a two-part movie of The Book of Boba Fett.
